Buy Local Program

Under this new initiative, Lake County departments will seek out local vendors for purchases under the legal bid limit of $30,000, while also considering other factors such as price, quality, terms, and service delivery. Lake County will strive to ensure that local businesses have the opportunity to do business with the county, while also continuing to be good stewards of tax dollars and maintaining compliance with the law. Register Your Company

View Lake County's Commodity Lists and register with Lake County to receive notifications of  bids, Request for Proposals (RFP), and other solicitations. This service will notify you by e-mail when a bid or RFP is available in your area(s) of interest.

Electronic Payment Program

Lake County is enhancing our payment process by offering payments electronically to our suppliers.  The electronic payment program is designed for those suppliers who want to avoid receiving a payment by check. Enrollment in the electronic payment program is voluntary, but we welcome your participation.

Job Order Contracting (JOC)

Lake County utilizes Job Order Contracting as a method to procure select construction and renovation projects involving demolition, electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, concrete, painting, plumbing and other trade work.
