Lake County Medical Reserve Corps
The goal of the Lake County Medical Reserve Corps (LCMRC) is to increase the health care surge capacity of the county as support to the existing health care system in the event of a major emergency, flu pandemic and/or to support local public health needs. Medical Reserve Corps volunteers can and will serve a vital role by assisting with ongoing public health needs. The most important principle for such a Medical Reserve Corps unit is that it should not replace existing resources and capabilities; it is a supplement to existing ones. |
