These maps show the boundaries of the county board districts either individually or on a countywide basis. The boundaries may be revised every 10 years following the census.
Lake County has 23 county board members, each representing a separate district area. There is a separate large and small map product for each of the 23 districts. The districts represent equal population as determined by the 2000 census, but the districts vary significantly in area in order to encompass equal population. Note that there is a single countywide map showing all 23 district boundaries, however where greater detail is needed to see the precise location of these boundaries, the individual district maps would be needed.
To access an individual district map click on a district below. The maps are in Adobe Acrobat PDF file format, some files are large and may take awhile to view. These maps are intended to be printed at approximately 46" x 35" and if printed at 8-1/2 x 11 will not be very legible.
